RésuméCes reprises se veulent un hommage à la poésie de Bob Dylan, aux valeurs humanistes, prophétiques, héritées ou d'avant-garde de son oeuvre. Appartenant à un monde ethnique et traditionnel où la musique et la poésie sont encore empreintes de leur sens rituel, des artistes se sont appropriés à leur manière ses chansons aux thèmes universels. Soneros cubains, tziganes de Roumanie, virtuoses du Rajasthan, musiciens du Nil ou maîtres persans déclament ainsi une chanson choisie en rapport à leur propre culture, dont les paroles ont été traduites dans leur langue et adaptées selon leur style vocal et musical.
